As a certified nurse practitioner with a Master's in Family Nursing from Frontier Nursing University, I am passionate about breaking down barriers for Americans to access quality healthcare. By practicing on a virtual platform, I'm able to put my passion to work and truly maximize patient outreach. I love witnessing the impacts of my practice and the improvements in health outcomes take shape right before my eyes.
It is imperative for primary care providers to support and engage their patients as active partners in their physical and behavioral healthcare. This partnership encourages health awareness, mutual accountability, and is proven to contribute to overall wellbeing. In my practice, I prioritize establishing a trusting rapport by actively listening and validating patients' concerns and emotions. The trust gained and this safe environment for open dialogue establish mutual respect and often assist me in identifying more substantive information that can supplement my clinical process and plan.
I was born and raised in a small town in central Kentucky and currently reside in Lexington. I come from a family of four girls; my sisters are my best friends. I love to jet-set off to new destinations at every chance I get! I make sure to immerse myself in the culture and live like a local as much as possible. While at home, my two dogs, Boomer and Bode, are always by my side.

Horrific waste of time. I signed up for an annual physical and to my surprise after waiting for 20 min they don’t do blood work. I was the 8am appointment and the NP was 20 late. There was no one ahead of me. Terrible terrible experience

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Gilbert! Out of many doctors I've seen in NYC, she has one of the best bedside manners I've encountered. She is non-judgmental, personable and knowledgeable. I'm glad she addressed my concerns and I'll be keeping her as my PCP for the future.

Prescription was sent to pharmacy and pharmacy tried to contact doctor immediately that they could not fill the prescription. I waited all day and now I don’t have the medicine needed to help me and need to find an alternative solution for tomorrow.
