Lauren is a certified physician assistant specializing in both general medical and cosmetic dermatology. She attended Thomas Jefferson University, where she received her bachelor’s degree in Health Science and her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies. Lauren then attended the University of Lynchburg where she earned a Doctorate of Medical Science, which is an advanced practice clinical program for experienced physician assistants. Lauren is experienced in medical dermatology focusing on Skin cancer screenings, the treatment of psoriasis, eczema, acne, rosacea, warts, rashes, and pigmented lesions. Additionally, she is trained in aesthetic procedures including BOTOX® Cosmetic, Dysport®, Juvéderm® Fillers, Kybella®, Body Contouring, and Microneedling.
Lauren is also an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA). She is passionate about skin care and making sure each patient receives their own personalized skin care plan to help patients feel and look their best. Because Lauren loves going to the beach, she is committed to educating her patients on sun protection and the importance of self skin exams and professional Total-Body Skin Cancer Exams. When she’s not at the beach, Lauren enjoys spending time with her family.

I went to my scheduled appointment two weeks prior to yesterday’s appointment and was told that to have potential skin cancers examined during my body check they would have to get pre authorization from my insurance. Arrived two weeks later to have my body check and the clinician Loren had not followed through with getting the pre authorization and again I had to leave without being examined. I will not recommended this Clinton or Advanced Dermatology to anyone.

I uploaded all documents and information prior to appointment. I called the office to verify everything in advance and confirm my appointment. I was told I would have a certain co-pay. Upon taking the day off work and arriving early for the appointment, I was then told they do not accept my insurance but that I can see the doctor if I was willing to pay full rate out of pocket. I declined and left feeling misled.

I was turned off by the long process involved in pressing several buttons to get someone on the phone. When I arrived there were a lot of people waiting to see a doctor. I was surprised at how quickly I was seen and how pleasant and professional the staff was. I was very pleased with my overall experience. I will be back and highly recommend this office.
