She received her medical degree from Thomas Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia where she graduated cum laude and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, Hobart Amory Hare Honor Society, and McClellan Surgical Honor Society 2011. Following medical school, Dr. Okon completed a dermatology research fellowship in the Autoimmune Skin Disease Unit at the University of Pennsylvania, where she conducted research studies involving cutaneous lupus erythematosus and dermatomyositis, as well as published a number of articles in leading dermatologic journals. Dr. Okon completed her transitional medicine internship at Crozer Chester Medical Center before completing her dermatology residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in 2018. Dr. Okon is a Board Certified Dermatologist and she practices a combination of general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Okon was honored as one of the Top Physicians in Dermatology for 2024 by South Jersey Magazine. Currently, Dr. Okon resides in Voorhees, NJ, with her husband, a fellow physician, along with their three sons, Jack, Samuel and Benjamin.
