Lauren Seaton, APRN, RN, MSN, PMHNP

Adult Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
1030 N Ctr Pkwy, Ste 113, Kennewick, WA
My name is Lauren Cranston Seaton, and I’m a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. I completed my advanced nursing degree at Gonzaga University and have spent more than 14 years working in mental health, including youth and adolescent inpatient care, community mental health, and correctional settings. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse and high-acuity populations, including individuals involved in the justice system and people living with severe mental illness. I’m also passionate about advocacy and have been involved in public policy efforts to help improve access to compassionate, equitable mental-health care. I treat a wide range of psychiatric conditions — including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, psychosis, and trauma-related concerns. My goal is to create a space where patients feel safe, seen, and respected. I approach care collaboratively, taking time to listen, explain options, and work alongside each person to build stability, resilience, and long-term wellness. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest, and traveling when I can.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Patients should know that I value partnership, honesty, and compassion in the treatment process. I take time to listen to your story, understand what matters most to you, and work collaboratively to find options that feel realistic and supportive. You don’t need to have everything “figured out” before you come in. We’ll take it one step at a time, together.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My process begins with getting to know you: your history, your concerns, and your goals. In our first visit, we will talk through what you have been experiencing and what has or has not helped in the past. Together, we will create a treatment plan that may include medication, therapy recommendations, and supportive lifestyle strategies. During follow-up visits, we will check in regularly, discuss how things are going, and make adjustments as needed. My goal is to move at a pace that feels comfortable while helping you build stability, confidence, and long-term wellness.
