About Dr. Lauren Thompson

BEFORE BOOKING PLEASE NOTE: -CASH practice only, no insurance -Will ask for credit card prior to apt, no shows are charged in full - For those serious about improving their health and becoming pain free - Initial Exam Cost: 1.5 hours, $275.00 Dr. Lauren Thompson discovered chiropractic care at age thirteen after it relieved growing heel pain and improved her balance as a competitive gymnast. Experiencing its impact firsthand inspired her to explore the profession, leading her to pursue a career in chiropractic after extensive research and interviews with Bay Area chiropractors. Dr. Lauren earned her Bachelor of Science in Systems Physiology with a minor in Chemistry from San José State University, then completed her chiropractic education at Palmer West College of Chiropractic. She holds certifications in RockTape, Graston, Webster Technique, and Applied Kinesiology, and completed her final year treating active-duty military at the Navy Base Hospital in Lemoore through the Department of Defense program. She is also one of only 200 doctors worldwide certified in Cranial Facial Release (CFR Elite). Dr. Lauren is on MATERNITY LEAVE; however, Dr. Garcia is filling in. Her profile: Dr. Lauren Garcia received her Bachelors of Arts in Anthropology at San Francisco State University and Bachelors of Science in Human Biology at University of Western States. She then began her Chiropractic journey at the University of Western States where she got her Doctorate in Chiropractic graduating with cum laude. Dr. Garcia completed her internship at Palo Alto VA where she had the privilege of working alongside clinicians and treating a diverse patient population with complex cases. During her time at the VA, she gained invaluable insight into the intricacies of chiropractic care and developed a deep appreciation for the impact it can have on improving patients’ lives. Dr. Garcia utilizes diversified adjusting as well as using the Graston technique to address patients complaints.
