About Dr. Lawrence Schwartz

Dr. Lawrence Schwartz obtained his B.A. in 1971 from Brooklyn College. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from New York Medical College in 1975. He completed his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident from 1978 to 1979. Dr. Schwartz also completed his Fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center in 1981. He is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Schwartz was named in the New York "Super Doctors" listing in 2008 and 2009.

Dr. Schwartz really is everything you want in an old school, professional, Physician. I'm not sure if he makes house calls, but he makes phone calls after hours as needed, he's always available and he remembers everything about me, even though I usually only see him once a year. What a great guy and a great doctor!

I had to change my Primary care physician after 16 years being with him, due to insurance requirement and change of job. I was nervous about getting a new Doctor. My first visit with Dr Schwartz put my mind at ease and he took a keen interest in my past medical history and gave me a full and complete examination. First impressions with him was great and office staff was great. I intend to visit him for any future consultations and exams. I highly recommend.
