Dr. Lawrence Scott Wilner loves medicine. Although he has been practicing for more than 25 years, he still approaches each day with the interest and vigor of a freshly graduated physician. He loves his work and his interactions with patients. Dr. Wilner strives to make each visit a memorable experience and ensures that every patient feels their concerns have not only been heard but addressed with a detailed plan agreed upon by all parties for treatment going forward. He strongly believes that decision-making in medicine should be shared between patient and doctor, with all choices adequately explained and reviewed.
Dr. Wilner is Board Certified in Family Medicine. He graduated from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1991 with a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree. Since then, he has actively practiced medicine, primarily in family practice, while also gaining broad experience in Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, and Sports Medicine. He has worked extensively with one of Denver's professional teams and has been the team physician for Ponderosa High School since 1994. In recognition of his volunteer service over the past quarter-century, he was recently inducted into the Ponderosa High School Hall of Fame.
In his free time, Dr. Wilner enjoys exercising and playing a fair round of golf. He is married and has two amazing boys at home.

The doctor was more interested in his retirement than finding a solution to my issue. He recommended blood work and X-rays ( which I had to remind them of). As some Google reviews say, they are terrible with requesting prescriptions and getting you your bills in a timely manner. Had to call them back three times to get one of my prescriptions ordered and they just never ordered another prescription that I need. I asked the front desk what I owed them after my appointment and they just said they don't know. Got a bill in the mail 2 months later. THESE SHOULD BE THE EASY PARTS OF HEALTHCARE!!!

Today was my first visit with Dr. Wilner, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. Right away, he put my nerves at ease, and I had his uninterrupted attention the whole time. His communication was clear and he gave me a feeling of assurance. On top of his professionalism, he’s also friendly.
The staff was super cool too. I called ahead of time to ask a few questions and the receptionist was knowledgeable and patient with me. Thanks to all the staff that made me feel welcome and that I was in good care.

I have Colorado Health First (Medicaid) and I wanted a doctor that I could book an appointment online. I had to call to confirm, but I was seen within the week at a time that worked for me. The NA was helpful and it's clear she keeps the place running. The doctor listened well and was able to send my prescription to the pahrmacy.

Dr Wilner was awesome. It took awhile once I was in the exam room for them to see me, but I’m pretty sure they’re we’d having a weird computer problem so I don’t think it was their fault. Everyone was very friendly!
