Family Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
8 S Main St 201, Canton, IL
My name is Layne Stambaugh, and I am a Board Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specializing in the care of adults and children struggling with acute and chronic conditions, including PTSD, depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, bipolar disorders, and schizophrenia. I earned my Master’s in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Saint Francis Medical Center. I operate an independent virtual practice called Braintique. I focus on patient-centered care and optimizing medication; my goal in treatment is to use the fewest medications at the lowest doses possible to robustly support mood and wellness. I strive to cultivate a deep and personalized understanding of each patient, which is often missed in larger-scale clinics. Seeking help with mental health is a challenge, and I work to make it an easy process for my patients. Virtual appointments can be conveniently made via our online scheduling system, with open availability for evening and weekend hours.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
