I hold a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Duke University, a Master's in Nursing from Midwestern State University, a Master's in Counseling from Prairie View A&M University, and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. At this time, our office does not accept clients who are needing a prescription for benzodiazepines (i.e., Ativan, Klonopin, Xanax, Valium, etc.). Arizona clients: At this time, I am unable to prescribe any controlled substances. Once you book an appointment, there will be a $50 cancellation/no-show fee should you need to cancel or do not show. There is no fee associated with rescheduling your appointment.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I prefer to treat my clients with a collaborative-style approach. It is my belief that the provider-client relationship is one built on open communication and shared treatment ideas. I am a firm believer in helping others to help themselves and offer a supportive-guidance role in the treatment process.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

After your first session with me, you should be more at peace with better understanding your collaborative journey ahead, and ways in which to successfully navigate it together. Each session will include medication management as well as brief, supportive therapy.
