About Dr. Lea Holcomb

Dr. Holcomb’s excitement about the healing power of chiropractic is contagious — and she shares it quite generously with each visitor at her clinic. Patients greatly appreciate her passion for educating them about how they can discover their full health potential through chiropractic care, and observe immediately that she lives by Hellen Keller’s quote:”Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.” There were plenty of daring adventures to enjoy while growing up in New Hampton, Iowa, where community service became instinctive for Dr. Holcomb. She’s always looking for ways to give back. That’s why it was natural for her to provide chiropractic care and wellness education to underserved areas on the West Indies island of Bequia during her clinical internship. To maintain her own wellness Dr. Holcomb enjoys traveling with family and her dogs. After earning her BS in nursing from Luther College, Dr. Holcomb worked as an RN in the surgical/trauma ICU at the Mayo Clinic, then in the ER at Chicago’s Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Since earning her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic, with a diplomate in clinical chiropractic pediatrics, she has treated hundreds of patients applying her board-certified specialty in pediatrics and pregnancy. Dr. Holcomb is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, the American Chiropractic Association and the Illinois Prairie State Chiropractic Association. She is trained and highly skilled in delivering Diversified, Gonstead, Pettibon, Thompson, Activator, Toggle and Atlas Orthogonal techniques.
