What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe effective mental health care starts with understanding the whole person—not just their symptoms. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized, combining evidence-based treatment with medication management when appropriate. While I practice from a psychodynamic foundation and enjoy helping clients understand the deeper patterns that shape their thoughts, emotions, and relationships, I also focus on practical tools that can improve day-to-day functioning and quality of life.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I work closely with each client to create a treatment plan tailored to their unique goals, strengths, and challenges. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, mood instability, life transitions, trauma, substance use, or relationship difficulties, my goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful, lasting changes. I view treatment as a true partnership. You are the expert on your experiences, and I bring clinical knowledge, guidance, and support to help you navigate challenges and achieve your goals. Together, we will develop a plan that feels right for you, build on your strengths, and work toward lasting emotional wellness, resilience, and a life that feels more aligned with your values.
