I specialize in helping those who frequently feel like the odd one out, struggle to find where they fit in the world, feel lost or without purpose, face chronic health issues that wear down their strength, have difficulty advocating for their needs and navigating systems (medical, judicial, etc.), are often told they are "too sensitive," feel overwhelmed by people, and/or feel the pressure of living their "best life" when they’re just trying to keep their head above water. I hold a PsyD in Clinical Psychology and a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University. What should a new client know about working with you?

I offer a down to earth environment and in depth, tailored, systemic, and holistic interventions that explore how you want to see yourself and address what stands in the way. I value curiosity, genuineness, humor, and creativity so I strive to individualize strategies that fit your personality, values, and learning style.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During the initial assessment appointment, I take the time to learn your story including the experiences and symptoms that lead you to me, ways you've tried to cope, and your support system. The following 1-2 sessions are focused on learning about your values and working together to clarify your specific therapy goals. Ongoing sessions are tailored to the type of goals you set and strategies you're willing to try. I typically start with weekly sessions to help us get to know one another and build comfort then session frequency can be individualized depending on your needs and my clinical recommendation.
