Leah Young, PA-C

Physician Assistant
672 W 400 S, Ste 201, Springville, UT
I always knew I wanted to be a companion for others on their healing and wellness journey. As a child seeing my dad working in a hospital, I grew to be passionate about medicine and knew that this was the right career for me. When I'm not caring for patients, I enjoy getting outside with my loved ones, reading as many different books as possible, and traveling. I am board-certified with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. I completed my BS degree in philosophy at Brigham Young University, and later pursued a Master's of Physician Assistant Studies degree from the University of Utah. Please note: I am accepting new patients for ongoing medication management support. I do not provide therapy.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My philosophy is to understand and implement diverse healing modalities to achieve wellness. I am passionate about serving and advocating for historically marginalized communities; including the LGBTQIA community. I am committed to promoting fair and supportive policies and healthcare initiatives to ensure that every person has access to compassionate care.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I start with a thorough evaluation to understand your history, current challenges, and priorities. Together, we create a personalized plan that may include medication management, therapy referrals, or lifestyle strategies to strengthen overall wellness. I check in regularly with patients, adjusting treatment as needed, and strive to create a safe and empathetic space where you feel comfortable working through challenges and moving toward lasting change.

After scheduling your appointment, you will receive an email from Stella Mental Health (formerly Numinus) containing your intake paperwork. Please allow about 30 minutes to complete this form. Your responses will help your provider prepare for your upcoming appointment. All patients are required to complete the intake form 24 business hours before their appointment. You will receive a phone call from one of our dedicated Care Advocates, who can answer any questions you may have. Please be prepared to provide a credit card to keep on file for co-pays or cancellation fees. Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full intake appointment fee ($292). During your intake appointment, you’ll spend 60 minutes with your provider collaborating on a treatment plan tailored to your needs. If in-person treatments are recommended—such as TMS, Spravato, DSR SGB, or ketamine therapy—our care team will guide you through the process and ensure you feel supported every step of the way.
