I feel sooo much better now that I'm on a good hormone regimen. She is also really interested in making sure that I take the preventative steps to stay healthy not just in the short term, but the long term also, which shows how much she cares about her patients. I am now totally inspired to take out the weights- something I've been putting off.”

About Dr. Leanne Rutter
This is a self-pay telehealth practice that does not bill insurance, allowing Dr. Rutter to maintain a smaller patient panel and devote more time to each visit, ensuring that women receive the thoughtful and individualized care they need to feel their best as they navigate perimenopause and menopause.
New patient consultations are 60 minutes ($375) and follow up visits are 30 minutes ($200); payment will be required after booking in order to proceed with our intake process for your telehealth visit. You can request a superbill for potential out-of-network reimbursement, depending on insurance.
Dr. Rutter is a Board Certified Family Medicine physician and Menopause Society Certified Practitioner who received her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and completed a highly regarded academic residency program at Thomas Jefferson University. She is passionate about filling a gap in care for midlife women and committed to providing the education, support, and evidence-based guidance they deserve to make informed decisions about their perimenopause and menopause symptoms and optimize their long-term health.

She is very knowledgable and is excellent at explaining things to me (and making sure I completely understand her). Dr. Rutter is a kind, thoughtful, and trustworthy physician. Seeing Dr. Rutter was a relief in every way; what other physicians didn’t take the time to explain to me or just to validate me, she did. I’ve been very impressed with this doctor from the start. She is exceptionally thorough, taking the time to ask the right questions and ensure every detail is understood before making any conclusions. It’s clear she is very intelligent and deeply knowledgeable in her field.
One of the things I appreciate most is her punctuality — appointments always start on time, and she makes efficient use of every minute without ever making me feel rushed. She also has a remarkable ability to identify the real root of problems, rather than just treating symptoms.
Most importantly, she inspires tremendous confidence. I always leave her office feeling reassured that she knows exactly what’s going on and has a clear plan for how to treat it. I couldn’t ask for better care or a more capable physician.

Dr. Leanne Rutter is the most thorough, responsive, and patient doctor I have seen in my 55 years. She is also an excellent diagnostician. Yes, she is gifted at asking the right questions to fully explore symptoms, but she is an equally gifted listener. She never dismisses my experience of my own body, and is collaborative and open in managing my menopausal shifts. The world, and women in particular, needs more MDs like Dr. Rutter. I am thankful every day for her care.
