Lelieth Thompson, LP

Psychologist
CO
I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who has lived in Colorado Springs for 8 years. I completed my education at South Carolina State University (B.S. Psychology 2008) and went on to Adler University in Chicago to complete my Master’s in Counseling Psychology (2010) and then my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (2014). I relocated to Colorado for my internship and postdoctoral training. My training experiences include Assertive Community Treatment, correctional, inpatient, and residential treatment, and community mental health. I am a culturally sensitive and trauma-informed clinician who has a passion for working with adults coping with challenges due to serious and persistent mental illness, cultural traumas, anxiety and mood disorders, and navigating life transitions. Although I use a person-centered approach and integrate many treatment modalities to meet clients where they are, I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Biofeedback (HeartMath), and Cognitive Processing Therapy. My goal is to provide clients with a space where they can be vulnerable and intentional with their journey toward personal growth, encourage mindfulness, and improve insight into life’s challenges!
