He graduated from Hunter College Bellevue School of Nursing in 1997 with his BSN and later earned a Master's in Nursing from Monmouth University. The majority of his patients throughout his professional career have been adults.

My sessions with Lenny Gets, APN are great. I had sessions in the past and then just recently restarted them; I didn’t want to have to find a new psychiatrist and explain everything all over again. It was good that he remembers well. He listens well and gives his honest view. He is always straight to the point and doesn’t sugar coat. I had to wait quite a bit to meet with the provider which made me feel quite unnerved, and no apology was offered for the lateness. Additionally, the provider made unsavory comments about my background that I did not appreciate from a mental health professional. I cannot doubt his qualifications, but I do call into question his credibility.

Three electronic submissions of insurance information, and 3 confirmations in writing before proceeding with the appointment. One hour appointment reliving all my trauma, with hopes of getting some real help in my follow up appointment. Hours before this follow up appointment that I so desperately need, I received notification that upon further investigation my first appointment was not covered and I will be billed.
So now I will be disputing the charge AND attempting to get the medical help you promised me.
Absolutely unacceptable.

Congenial, but was late, hadn't read my intake form (or at least asked me all the same questions and didn't delve deeper), was more interested in sharing all the things he didn't like about where I had lived and wrongly assuming things about my life experiences. Just kinda an ick person. But I think he prescribed my meds, so 3 out of 5.

The guy actually laughed at the issue that sent me to him in the first place. He even made a joke referencing his wife having the same issue. If he only knew how much courage it took to open up about it in the first place, I doubt he’d joke about it. I ended the session feeling embarrassed and so sorry that I even bothered.

Mr. Gets is such a kind, welcoming person to talk to. I was really nervous at first since I'd never received any type of mental health before, but Mr. Gets made things easy, quick, and comfortable. He doesn't push for you to take medicine but is open to discussing it and will help you and listen to you if/when medicinal help is required. He's also very funny and treats you less like a client, but rather like a familiar friend talking about your day/issues. He's also very easy to access at random times if need be (thanks Mr. Gets!!), and if there are any issues he sees to it quickly. He's also great at letting you pick your own pace alongside his guidance. I would 100% recommend Mr. Gets to anyone looking for a little extra mental health help!

I felt listened to and that I was getting my point across for which I made the appointment. My provider was excellent and listened to me prior to prescribing medicine. I highly recommend Zocdoc.
