About Dr. Leon Katz
Dr. Leon Katz brings over 20 years of dedicated experience in weight management to his patients. Trained at Harvard and NYU Medical School, Dr. Katz has helped more than 4,500 individuals on their journey to better health and wellness.
At this point in his career Dr. Katz has focused exclusively on medical weight loss, including two years as the Director of Medical Weight Loss at New York Bariatric Group, where he successfully treated over 2,000 patients using non-surgical methods. Prior to this, he performed over 2,500 bariatric surgeries, giving him a comprehensive understanding of weight management from both medical and surgical perspectives.
Now in private practice, Dr. Katz combines his extensive experience with cutting-edge weight loss medications to create personalized treatment plans. His approach focuses on understanding each patient as a whole person, aligning their overall goals with practical, effective strategies for lasting weight management.
