As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Master's in Nursing from Walden University and a Bachelor's degree from Chamberlain University, my priority is patient safety and restoring a sense of functionality to the lives of my patients. Many people face daily challenges that can become overwhelming and affect multiple areas of life. Together, we will develop a treatment plan tailored to your individual needs to help you regain good mental health.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I am an outcome focused Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who ensures the provision of comprehensive care to maintain and optimize good mental health outcomes. I am highly proficient in integrating critical thinking and sound clinical judgement to effectively manage routine and emergency psychiatric issues, while emphasizing safety and quality of care. I have experience in providing psychiatric care to clients across the lifespan and safe, evidence-based medication management.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
A typical session with me involves me sending you a notification for your virtual and introducing myself to you. I try to make everyone feel as comfortable as possible to minimize any barriers to withholding what you have been experiencing. Your symptoms are key to creating your treatment plan. We'll be reviewing your symptoms, how you've been feeling, how it has affected you and what your coping strategies are. We'll also discuss additional coping strategies that may help with your situation. Feel free to write down any questions or concerns you may have for me before your visit so that you don't feel like you've forgotten to touch on any of your concerning topics. I look forward to meeting you!
