While in Houston, Dr. Baccaro trained with many well-renowned leaders in the field. He is a proud graduate of the residency program originally founded by distinguished plastic surgeons, Dr. Thomas Biggs and Dr. Thomas Cronin, both collaborators in the creation of the first silicone gel breast implant in 1962. Although he was born in California, Dr. Baccaro grew up in Argentina. There, he graduated from Medical School with honors and at the top of his class. Simultaneously, he was a teaching assistant in anatomy and completed a second degree in pedagogy. He is bilingual, being fluent in both English and Spanish. After medical school, Dr. Baccaro moved to Pennsylvania and completed residency in General Surgery at Easton Hospital – Drexel University College of Medicine. As chief resident he received the prize for Resident of the Year, given to the best all-round resident of the program. In 2015, he received his Board Certification in General Surgery, and he received his Board Certification in Plastic Surgery in 2019. Dr. Baccaro is known by his peers and patients to be a compassionate, friendly, and energetic surgeon. He knows the importance of listening to patients and guiding them to the treatment which will best fit their needs and goals.
