Dr. Kim is very professional. He provided us with useful information and gave really critical advice. The conversation was intense but straight to the point. I have to note here that we came prepared (with a list of questions) and got informative professional answers to all of them. He seems like a sincere and caring person interested in helping people.

Dr. Leslie Kim is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon and has been in active practice with WBOMG for 20 years. While he treats most general orthopaedic problems, he has specific expertise in the arthroscopic surgical treatment of shoulder and knee injuries.
Dr. Kim is a graduate of Stanford University and Stanford Medical School. General surgery internship and orthopaedic surgery residency were completed at UCLA. He also received post-graduate fellowship training in arthroscopic surgery, orthopaedic trauma in Munich Germany, and reconstructive surgery at Scripps Clinic.
Following Dr. Kim's formal training, he gained additional experience while working at the Olympics and serving as team physician at Skyline College. In addition, he acquired extensive experience in the workers compensation system as the director of industrial medicine for a large statewide medical group.
Dr. Kim is currently Chairman of the Orthopaedic Surgery Department at Seton Medical Center, and is also on the active medical staff at Mills-Peninsula Hospital. He has a longstanding commitment to various organizations serving the medical profession and community. He is past president of the San Mateo County Medical Association, Trustee on the California Medical Association Board, Director on the Mills-Peninsula Medical Group Board, and member of the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons Board of Councilors. Because of his interest in health information technology, he also recently represented physicians on a California State Commission advising the Governor on health IT financing.
Outside the office, Dr. Kim has developed a particular interest in sports fitness and physical conditioning. He has participated in competitive triathlons and marathons, and remains active as a runner.
