Dr. McGahan Is simply fabulous. From my first consultation, through shoulder surgery (slap tear and biceps tenodesis), and now 11 weeks into follow up care, my expectations and frankly hopes have been exceeded. I am well on my way to afull recovery and am beyond grateful. I can’t recommend him enough.

Staff were all very helpful and pleasant. Was taken back to exam room within 5 minutes of completing paperwork. Medical assist was detailed and asked questions when I explained wait was going on. At no time did I feel rushed. Theleft with some history I brought and my new complaint. Came back within moments asking me if I was willing to get X-rays. A moment later, the Xray tech pops in asking me to follow to radiology room, again very pleasant. Scans done back to exam room. Few minutes later Dr. MaGahan was in to see me, he asked some questions and he listen while I talked. I could tell he was there for me, not worried about another room he had to whisk off too. We chatted about what was going on and what he saw in the X-rays,. he recommended a care plan, and I agreed. Minutes later he was back with the needed item to give me an injection in my knee, didn’t even feel it. Something not all doctors are good at. He then said the MA would be in to explain steps for MRI and that we would discuss once he gets results back for next medical step if needed. The entire team was great, and worked well together.

Good doctor. Terrible scheduling and communication management with the staff. Waited 45 minutes before being called in the first trip. Over an hour today. The front desk has no clue about managing and pipelining and seem oblivious that patients are waiting.

My appointment was for 3:30 pm. I arrived at 3:20 and completed the new patient forms and returned them to the receptionist at 3:30. I asked what was taking so long at 4:00 pm. They told me the doctor was behindand I would be seen in 15-20 minutes. I was called in at 4:30 pm. Poor start for a new patient experience. Dr. McGahan was courteous but brief. No one in the office offered an apology for the one hour delay. Seemed to be a high volume office. I left feeling a more like a number and not a patient. Not a great first impression.
