About Dr. Lesly Honore
Lesly Honore is a dedicated and detail-oriented internist and podiatrist serving the communities of Hempstead and Valley Stream, NY. He obtained his medical degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas Facultad de Medicina de Tampico 'Dr. Alberto Romo Caballero and he attended the New York College of Podiatric Medicine where he received his podiatric degree. He completed his residency in internal medicine and general surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He also completed his residency in internal medicine at the Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center.
Dr. Honore runs his own practice and is affiliated with Franklin Hospital, Long Island Jewish Medical Center, Mercy Medical Center, and Winthrop-University Hospital in NY. He welcomes patients who speak English, French, Spanish, and Creole (Haitian). His awareness of these different languages makes him accessible to patients from a variety of cultural backgrounds.

Dr. Honore made me feel really comfortable first just having a genuine conversation then taking the time explain what each procedure and check up means so I had an understanding of what I was in for. Not to mention he’s a great listener.

Dr. Honore and the rest of the staff had excellent bedside manner. They were friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. I'm so glad to have found a PCP with weekend hours.

I read the reviews prior to my visit and I must say I am disappointed. After waiting for two hours the doctor walked in and spent 5 minutes with me. He didn’t even cut my toenails., every podiatrist I’ve gone to in the past has cut my toenails. He didn’t remove the corn on my toe and actually I am kinda glad. The office is NOT doing anything to protect against the spread of COVID. Nobody screens you, nobody ask anyone questions about their exposure to COVID or any resent travel or symptoms. The office is not limited to just the patient who’s being treated anyone can come in and sit in the waiting area. The seats aren’t separated, there’s no social distancing at all. I was talking to my friend and he kept advising me to leave the office. I was in shock, nothing was as indicated in the reviews. I will never go back to this office again. The doctor advised me to wear heels and apply ice and scheduled me to come back in four weeks. The health department needs to investigate their non COVID Compliance. The staff was friendly.
