About Dr. Letantia Bussell
Dr. Letantia Bussell is the Founder, Director and Supervising Physician of Beverly Hills Dermatology Consultants. She is a devoted and talented physician who has been practicing medicine in Beverly Hills and the Los Angeles area for 40 years.
Since being in practice, she has carefully and personally trained her medical team in order to offer the highest quality of dermatological care to as many patients as possible.
Dr. Bussell has pioneered her own patented dermatological treatments. She is an innovator in patient care solutions for conditions that are difficult to diagnose and treat. Dr. Bussell is also the originator of the Incredible Two-Stitch Mini Face Lift, as well as the new Bussell Button Lift. Dr. Bussell is committed to patient care and patient well-being by improving self image through dermatology. She was a chief clinical investigator for the original collagen wrinkle-improving fillers in the early 80's. Her practice encompasses cosmetic facial treatments using the latest filler and wrinkle-reducing techniques, which have evolved from her clinical trials with collagen.
Early on in her career, while the disease was widely unknown and before any standard blood tests existed, Dr. Letantia Bussell diagnosed AIDS in beloved American actor Rock Hudson. She thereby contributed to bringing HIV/AIDS awareness to the entire world in the early 1980's.
Dr. Bussell obtained her undergraduate degree from University of Southern California (USC) with a major in Biochemistry. She received a Doctor of Medicine degree also from USC. Dr. Bussell completed her dermatology residency through the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) program. She is board certified in dermatology and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology.
Since opening up her practice in Beverly Hills in 1979, Dr. Bussell's career has been devoted exclusively to patient care.

Doc and PAs were nice. One person at the front was pretty rude and waited until I had already been waiting for 40 minutes to tell me my appointment was at 11:15 when it was at 10:15 per ZocDoc. I showed her my confirmation, and she shrugged and was super dismissive. I arrived at 10:10am and left the office at 11:30am. About 25 min of that time was spent in the exam room. Parking was valet-only and charged by 15 minute increments. I recommend looking for street parking.

As a first time patient today of Dr. Bussell, let me just say that she made me feel so comfortable. She really took time to listen and to inspect my problem areas- I felt like she really cared about addressing my concerns. I have sjogrens autoimmune disorder, which if you do as well, you know how hard it is to find a doctor in any field that has any idea what it is, or the health issues it causes, how to treat the issues, etc. Dr. Bussell is the best doctor I have encountered thus far when it comes to her immuno knowledge and feedback. I really trusted her advice and recommendations and look forward to seeing her as one of my regular care providers moving forward.

The doctor was really sweet and comforting at our first appointment
I made an urgent first visit cause I woke up with a rather unpleasant to look at and painful breakout.
She had me sorted out in no time and put together a perscription- free acne treatment plan to start with which I really appreciated.
