Welcome to my profile page. I am Dr. Li Kruszka, a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Johns Hopkins University. Educational Background
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Nova Southeastern University. I then pursued a Master of Science in Family Health Nursing at Georgetown University. I am board-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) as a Family Nurse Practitioner and graduated with honors from the Doctor of Nursing Practice program at Johns Hopkins University.
Professional Experience in Primary Care
With numerous years of clinical experience, I provide care to individuals of all ages. I conduct comprehensive health assessments, perform physical examinations, diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, prescribe medications, and order diagnostic tests. I also collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, dietitians, cardiologists, nephrologists, gynecologists, and gastroenterologists. I focus not only on treating diseases but also on counseling healthy behaviors, immunizations, screenings, and early detection of illnesses.

I have severe anxiety when it comes to doctors, especially needles and blood work, and because of that this was my first appointment in over 10 years. I explained my anxiety at the beginning of my visit, and unlike past experiences where I was dismissed or told it wasn’t a big deal, Dr. Kruszka truly listened and made me feel heard. She calmly explained the process, told me what to expect, stayed with me during the blood draw, and kept me distracted with music and conversation. I never thought I’d say this, but I actually had fun getting my blood drawn and completed it without crying or passing out for the first time ever. The entire staff was kind and welcoming, the office is clean and inviting, and I cannot recommend Dr. Kruszka enough - she is compassionate, patient, and absolutely AMAZING!

The doctor did not send an Dx imaging order requested as they promised, after sending them labs. I was able to obtain the order elsewhere as timeliness was valuable to me. However, the doctor was able to get lab work sent to evaluate progress in achieving optimal levels in blood work. The doctor also listened and explained medical reasoning, although, the appointment was somewhat limited in time and earlier than scheduled. Would still recommend, perhaps utilizing even more diligence, effective communication, and follow up by the patient, for timely and effective treatment, and or connivence, per the urgency of the medical concern.

Absolutely amazing. I'm stunned. Unlike many doctors who just rush you in and out, Dr. Kruzska listened to my concerns, reviewed my medical history in detail, and explained what the potential problems and outcomes would be. Extremely nice and detail-oriented! Also, they did a bunch of tests right there in the office, and they even called the imaging center to make an appointment for me. Wow. So completely above & beyond the level of caring and service I expected! A+, 5 stars, whatever you want to call it.
