She earned her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) in Portland, Oregon. Her clinical experience spans diverse patient populations in urgent care, primary care, community, and teaching clinic settings. Dr. Blank's interest in naturopathic medicine was sparked by research exploring traditional botanical medicine in Indonesia. While there, she studied medical ethnobotany and learned about a variety of tropical plants used in managing chronic conditions, promoting health, preventing disease, and providing treatment. Since earning her doctorate, she has remained passionate about botanical medicine and has embraced many other modalities in practice, aiming to utilize the most effective, evidence-based medicine available.
