3520 Piedmont Rd NE, Ste 330, Atlanta, GA
Originally from Brazil, hence bilingual Portuguese, I originally came to the U.S. with a scholarship from Rotary International to pursue graduate school. Because of my love for learning, and my fascination with the field of Psychology, I ended up getting a few of those degrees: Humanistic Psychology, Educational Psychology, and Clinical Psychology. From there, I went on to specializing in working with couples and families, and was trained at Stanford University, in Palo Alto, CA, at the Couples Institute in Menlo Park, CA, at the Relational Life Institute in Boston, MA, and at the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals in Phoenix, AZ. I feel fulfilled helping people improve their relationships, and remove old patterns that get in the way of their achieving their goals. I am honored to work with my clients on developing healthy boundaries and feeling loved and understood. During my free time, I enjoy hanging out with family and friends, cooking new recipes, hiking beautiful trails, kayaking stunning lakes and rivers, and trying to make a dent in the high pile of books that “I just had to get.” A few certifications: Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) Certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist Certified OCD Therapist (International OCD Foundation) Certified UCLA PEERS® Therapist Intensively Trained DBT Therapist (Behavioral Tech) Certified Reproductive Mental Health Therapist (Postpartum Support International)
