I earned my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Mississippi and my Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas, San Antonio. I completed my residency in Family Medicine at Bexar County Hospital District and further training at the Institute for Functional Medicine. Practicing meditation helps me stay fully present and really listen to my patients. As a primary care doctor, I can help connect the dots of seemingly unrelated symptoms and help patients get an earlier, more accurate diagnosis than they might through seeking one-off treatments. I love creating and enjoying art, spending time with my six adult children (plus three granddogs and three grandcats!), and studying foreign languages.
