About Lilly (Moss) Parllaku
Lilly is a home-grown Pennsylvanian who spent her childhood in West Chester. She traveled south to the University of Georgia for college and returned home to Drexel University in Philadelphia, where she earned both her Bachelor's degree and her Master's in Physician Assistant Studies. She graduated from the PA-C program in 2012 and spent seven years in the Penn Emergency Department, performing thousands of procedures and diagnosing many rare skin disorders. Lilly has a particular penchant for integrating an esthetic eye into the art of laceration repair and was known as the ?lac queen? during her time at Penn. She also established the first internship program for PA students in the Penn ED.
She is an active member of the Pennsylvania Dermatology Physician Assistants, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA), and is board certified by the Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She regularly attends educational conferences to stay current. Her favorite event was the week-long 2018 Fall SDPA seminar in Orlando, covering dermatology subspecialties including psoriatic arthritis, pediatric and adolescent dermatology, gestational dermatology, and dermatologic surgical procedures.
?As an undergrad, I worked as a Medical Assistant in a locally renowned dermatology practice. I was instantly enthralled with the medical artistry required to provide comprehensive dermatological care. When dealing with the most visible organ, you treat not only the physical but also the aesthetic and emotional aspects. From that experience on, I knew I had to end up in dermatology.?
In her spare time, Lilly loves to travel and spend time with her family. She has always been interested in other cultures and great cuisine. Her husband is a native Albanian who runs a restaurant in Philadelphia, and they have two daughters named Tessa and Sydney.
