Lina has only met me 2x and changed the dose on 2 of my meds, the cocktail of meds I take now works for me and and don’t need to be changed. When I am speaking to her I feel like she’s not hearing me. I am adamant about not changing my meds. In my last session she changed 2 of my meds, 2nd mtg. Lina thought the dose on my meds was too high and she wants to change the dose on one of my other meds @ our next mtg. I feel like she’s not hearing me. She questioned me about one of my mental issues. She asked me if I had a psychiatric test done to determine that I suffer with the issue. This was it for me with her. I request to see another provider with NYC Psychiatric Services. Lina doubted my mental issues. Her interest and concern in what I shared was very vague. Her bedside manner is lacking. I need to be able to form a relationship with my Dr. and be able to trust them. This is how I have been with past doctors.
She didn’t listen and wanted to involve EMS unnecessarily. She then claimed she caked the crisis hotline and there was no answer. I called and was answered immediately. The provider on the crisis line also said that was a lie—they answer 24/7 365. If you want her help, you have to lie so she hears what she wants.
