What should a new client know about working with you?

I am committed to providing top-notch, compassionate care across the lifespan. My goal is to break down the stigmas surrounding mental health while offering effective treatment for a variety of conditions, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, and psychotic disorders. Throughout my career, I have gained diverse experience working in the medical-surgical field, intensive care, and as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner in both outpatient and intensive outpatient settings. This extensive background has allowed me to apply a holistic care approach, addressing the mental, emotional, and physical well-being of each individual I serve. I am dedicated to delivering personalized, patient-centered care, empowering individuals to achieve their mental health and wellness goals at every stage of life.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

When working with clients, my approach begins with creating a welcoming and non-judgmental space where they feel safe to express their thoughts, emotions, and concerns. The first step in the process is conducting a thorough assessment, which includes gathering comprehensive medical, psychiatric, and psychosocial histories. This allows me to better understand the client’s unique experiences and challenges. Once the assessment is complete, we collaboratively develop a personalized treatment plan. This plan may include a combination of psychotherapy, medication management, and lifestyle modifications, all tailored to the client’s specific needs. My goal is to provide holistic care, ensuring that both mental and physical health are addressed in the treatment process. Throughout the entire process, I maintain open communication and strive to break down the barriers that often surround mental health care, ensuring that every client receives the highest quality, compassionate care they deserve.
