Dr. L. Cristina Calderón, PsyD is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in pediatric and adult neuropsychology. Dr. Calderón specializes in the neuropsychological evaluation of children, adolescents and adults who present with co-occurring neurodevelopmental, and/or medical conditions and focuses on the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of disruptions to their learning, work, and daily lives. She offers individuals collaborative, compassionate, client-centered evaluations through a culturally informed and developmental framework. By evaluating all aspects of an individual’s neurocognitive, social, and emotional functioning, she develops individualized and effective recommendations to target areas of growth. Dr. Calderón received her doctorate in clinical psychology with a specialization in neuropsychology from Nova Southeastern University. During her graduate training, she focused her clinical work on neuropsychological evaluations across the lifespan of individuals with complex developmental and neuromedical presentations within the rehabilitation and outpatient settings. Dr. Calderón completed her pre-doctoral internship in clinical neuropsychology at Hamilton Health Sciences–Acquired Brain Injury Program, with a focus on assessment and treatment in a rehabilitation setting.
