“I went during a slow time. I think a lot of the staff were on a lunch break so i wasn't seen right away. The only complaint I have is that I was the first one there and was told to wait, then another person came in and they were able to check in before me even though we had the same appointment time and I had arrived before them. It would have been nice to been checked in in order of who arrived when. ”

About Linda Chen
Linda Chen is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a unique and inspiring path in healthcare. She began her career as a clinical laboratory scientist, earning certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP BOC), where she gained expertise in everything from microbiology and chemistry to blood banking and phlebotomy. While she found the science fascinating, Linda realized she wanted to make a more personal impact on patients' lives, so she pursued her RN degree to transition into direct patient care.
Her passion for helping others blossomed during her volunteer work with the Cherokee Nation, where she worked with children on education, nutrition, and health. This experience sparked her deep interest in pediatrics, which was further fueled during her time in the emergency room, where she cared for critically ill children and adults. It was there that Linda discovered her true calling in family medicine—where she could form lasting relationships with patients of all ages and focus on preventive care and education for the entire family.
Now, as a member of the Leaf Medical Team, Linda is thrilled to bring her diverse background to offer compassionate, comprehensive care to the community. When she’s not caring for her patients, Linda enjoys reading, playing the violin, exploring the city’s hidden gems, and sampling new cuisines. With her broad range of experiences and genuine love for helping others, Linda combines expertise and heart in everything she does.

My experience with Dr. Chen transformed my view of the "dreaded doctor's office." She was incredibly honest, straightforward but she balanced with kindness and empathy. It was refreshing. Chris Wise did my lab test and she was so gentle and informative.
The office itself was clean and the wait time was less than 5 minutes. I will definitely return for follow-ups.

Linda is a wonderful medical provider. Dr. Sunwoo suspected I had an adrenal tumor and she was right. Linda on her team followed up with me dilligently and I could tell cared so much about me and the outcome. Linda is a warm and very sharp health care provider. The Leaf Medical practice is even stronger with her addition.
