What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe that mental health care should be compassionate, evidence-based, collaborative and holistic. My role is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can openly express what you are experiencing and where we work together to find effective solutions. We take time to understand your unique history, your values, and your goals, and we approach treatment with respect, empathy, and clinical precision. Our approach is holistic, blending evidence-based treatments with integrative therapies to address not only the symptoms but also the underlying causes of mental health concerns.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

At your initial appointment, we will discuss your mental health history, current concerns, gather information about symptoms, medical and mental health history, medications, substance use, stressors, and goals for treatment. The purpose is to understand what is going on, make or clarify diagnoses, and develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your unique mental health needs. This is the first step in your journey toward mental wellness.
