About Dr. Linda Jacobs

Hi! I’m Dr. Linda Jacobs. I’m a board-certified pediatrician, born and raised on Long Island. I attended Lehigh University, received my medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, and then did my pediatric residency through Brown University/Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Providence, RI. I grew up in the Woodbury-Syosset area and I have been fortunate enough to be a pediatrician back in my hometown for 23 years. I absolutely love my job and have loved caring for all my patients from birth until young adulthood. And even more special over the past few years, I have been able to help my former patients, as they became new parents themselves. I have a son with special needs, and through my own experiences, I have been able to help many families who have children with autism and other developmental disabilities. I also have a passion for adolescent medicine and I find it so rewarding to help teenagers and young adults both physically and emotionally. I’m happily married to my husband Matt and we have two children, Sydney and Spencer. I love spending time with my kids and they are my everything. During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends, on the couch watching movies and relaxing to music. Having this opportunity to practice medicine in a way where I can spend as much time as I need with a patient, be as thorough as I need to be, provide the medical and emotional support for the entire family is what drew me most to joining this amazing team at Concierge Pediatrics.
