Getting to know Linda Orji

I’m Linda Orji, a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with over Eleven years of experience in health care. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of caring for individuals with both medical and psychiatric conditions, which deepened my understanding of the powerful connection between the mind, body, and overall well-being.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My passion lies in helping people navigate their mental health journeys with compassion and evidence-based care. I believe that every person deserves to feel heard, valued, and supported in ac In my practice, I provide comprehensive mental health assessments, diagnoses, and individualized treatment plans. My approach is holistic, recovery-oriented, and client-centered, integrating techniques such as psychopharmacology, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and mindfulness strategies tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first session, you can expect a calm, welcoming space where we’ll focus on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to care. We’ll talk about your goals, current challenges, and what you hope to feel or experience differently. My aim is to create a safe, judgment-free environment where you can speak openly and feel supported from the start. Together, we’ll begin developing a personalized plan that fits your needs—whether that includes therapy, medication management, or lifestyle strategies. By the end of the session, my goal is for you to feel heard, understood, and confident that we’re working toward meaningful change, one step at a time.

Her bio was not accurate. No privacy. It’s seemed like someone was next to her listening to our conversation.

Such a wonderful and helpful provider. Knowledgeable, used appropriate assessments for my concerns and communicated properly

She is knowledgeable, listens, and works with you. Will go back.
My visit was punctual, and the doctor demonstrated exceptional attentiveness and professionalism, coupled with a commendable bedside manner.

Very polite provider, but was not compatible with my needs. My regular therapist and I believe anxiety is a subset of a different disorder I was looking to diagnose and treat, but she was focused on treating the anxiety as an isolated condition, which is not the case for me.

I saw Dr. Blair instead. Dr. Blair seems very knowledgeable and was easy to talk to. I could tell she has a therapy background, as she seamlessly interwoven therapy-adjacent questions and language into our appt, which was refreshing. My only concern is that she prescribed me three medications at once, one which I researched and found it was addictive. I’m hesitant to even try it. She is a very thorough doctor and her questioning made me feel like this was a great reset for me when it comes to psychiatry.

This was one of the best experiences with Telehealth. This provider was not only knowledgeable but an amazing listener. I felt she really understood me and my issues. Thank you again. I would highly recommend her

She seems like a really pleasant person
Cordial and polite doctor.
I met with someone different than the name on the original appointment, but the provider was nice and relatively thorough. However, I don’t know how trauma-informed and neurodiversity-informed this practitioner is, as she seemed to be interested in considering a new diagnosis over addressing the symptoms I was specifically there to treat for conditions that have already been diagnosed. After consulting with my therapist, who also met with this practitioner, we decided that I’ll find someone with more experience related to my specific neurotype and needs.
