About Lindsay Thorn
Lindsay is a native of central Florida and graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with her Bachelors in Exercise and Sports Science in 2007. She then went on to complete her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Florida College of Medicine in 2009.
While she began her career in Family Medicine, she quickly developed a love for dermatology and began practicing medical dermatology in central Florida in 2010. Lindsay and her family relocated to the greater Raleigh area in 2021 and joins us after having spent time practicing in Cary, NC. Her professional interests are general dermatology including acne management, psoriasis, and eczema, as well as skin cancer surveillance and treatment
Lindsay is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and a graduate of the SDPA Diplomate Fellowship Training, a premier fellowship training for PAs in the field of dermatology. In her spare time, Lindsay enjoys traveling with her family, hiking, gardening, and enjoying the outdoors.

We love Lindsay Thorn, MPAS, PA-C!! She is by far one of the best doctors we’ve been to, dermatology related or otherwise. Lindsay listens to the patient, thoroughly explains every step of what she is doing, and speaks to the patient at their level. (Referring to elderly with memory loss). The entire staff listens, is professional, and cares for their patients well being. The technicians are also caring and professional. We highly recommend this practice.

Awesome! This was my second visit which was a follow up from the first.
PA-C Lindsay Thorn was just a pleasant and understanding as my first time visit. What stood out to me was she listened to my concerns and allowed me to show her pictures I had taken of myself from my phone to give her a better picture of what I was describing that's happening. Furthermore, she remembered our first conversation of my issues. She never tried to dismiss me. Her last words to me were, I want to see you back in two weeks to see our main doctor and get their option as well because she didn't want to miss anything, and that I have had this issue for too long and they were going to find out exactly what it is. This was the first time I have hope in finding out what's wrong and getting medication to help with the problem. I Live in Jacksonville NC. I travel 2 1/2 hours to see her because of her willingness to get to the core of the problem and get a solution on fixing it.
