I had a lovely time with Lindsay. She was incredibly encouraging and made my feelings feel validated! It was incredible working with her!
It was a pleasure working with Lindsay Wengler. She helped me understand my child and guided me through the process of introducing new foods. Now I can proudly say he eats well and enjoys healthy meals, without being forced or getting frustrated. Thank you so much
Lindsay is a wealth of knowledge and re-shaped the way I think about meal planning and preparation. Her comfort around discussing eating disorder-related considerations that come up when talking about food was incredibly helpful, and I highly recommend her services.
Lindsay is incredibly kind and patient. I never thought I'd be able to have a decent relationship with food, let alone a good one, until our work together. She went above and beyond to help me in my recovery, all with understanding and humor. I cannot recommend her enough!
I am so grateful to have worked with Lindsay, an expert who is nonjudgmental, kind, deeply knowledgeable, caring, and encouraging. Working with her was such a healing and positive experience, and a contrast to my experiences at an eating disorder treatment center where things were very punitive and patients didn’t have much of a voice throughout the recovery process. Lindsay thoughtfully helped me identify short and long term goals for my life in relation to food and nutrition, and helped me figure out ways to take tangible steps toward them. She also helped remove the shame from conversations around food and body image, which was so healing and supportive; I learned a lot about hunger cues and energy from her that I’ve passed on to friends. I hope to be able to continue working with her and recommend her to anyone seeking nonjudgmental and comprehensive nutritional support!
Lindsay is smart, empathetic, thorough, and an amazing professional to partner with when you're trying to unpack disordered eating. She truly is gifted at having the nutritionist background and know-how for how to reframe eating, but is also incredibly emotionally tuned-in to her clients as well. She truly meets her clients where they are at, and is great at providing accountability, goal-setting, but also a judgement-free zone where she understands where clients are, any roadblocks they have, and how she can help support them through their journey. Disordered eating is incredibly complicated and setbacks are par for the course. It's so helpful to have Lindsay as a clinician who understands this and who can formulate a realistic plan where you truly feel like it is a partnership of working together. Would highly recommend.
Lindsay is kind, professional, and provides a tailored, personalized approach to her clients which is so important and appreciated! She understands the needs of her patients and is flexible in working on terms they're comfortable with. Would recommend her to any friend or family member seeking help.
Lindsay went above and beyond to work with me. She is one of the most patient people I have ever met and I made tremendous progress in eating disorder recovery because of her. Lindsay checks in with her clients outside of scheduled appointments and demonstrates that she really cares about her clients' progress. She has also been a cheerleader throughout every setback. Additionally, Lindsay is the most on-time provider I have ever encountered in any field. Every session begins right at the scheduled time; her punctuality makes planning around sessions much easier. I highly recommend Lindsay to anyone struggling with any type of disordered eating.
Lindsay has been an essential part of my disordered eating recovery journey, and I'm so grateful to have found her! Lindsay is a great listener, and has given me many helpful tools and solutions to guide me in my journey towards mindful eating. Lindsay is kind, thorough, and caring. I would recommend Lindsay to anyone in any stage of their recovery.
From our very first meeting, I felt safe and comfortable with Lindsay. Throughout our sessions, I had good weeks and not-so good weeks, but Lindsay always encouraged me and reminded me that this takes time. She makes sure to celebrate all victories, no matter how small they may feel to you - at times I felt like I was failing completely, but she was able to give me the outside perspective of how I was continuing to progress regardless of the challenges in my life. That said, she was supportive without sugarcoating things, which helped me to grasp the reality of situations as opposed to my perceptions. I'm also so grateful for Lindsay's help in finding the courage to talk to my mom about my struggles - there's been tension between us around this point for years, but I never knew if or how to address it, and Lindsay allowed me a safe space to work through my feelings before sitting down with my mom in what turned out to be a successful conversation. Lindsay's help isn't just relegated to our weekly sessions, either. She's constantly available to help review grocery lists, offer moral support in trying new foods, and search for treatments related to other mental health issues. Overall, Lindsay is a highly knowledgeable, compassionate, and steadfast dietitian, and I cannot recommend her enough.
