Lindsey Bailey was born in Memphis, Tennessee, moving to Panama City in 1989 with her parents and younger brother. She graduated from Mosley High School and continued to pursue a college degree and fell in love with studying French and art, attaining a Master of Art in French Literature while at Florida State University. Her parents, a radiologist and a registered nurse, inspired her to later explore the medical field which led her to nursing. Lindsey’s educational journey continued on graduating from University of Alabama at Birmingham with her Master of Science in Nursing and became board certified thereafter as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She has a passionate interest in psychiatry and has specialized skills in the diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric disorders, medication management, psychoeducation, and counseling for ages 5 and up. -Licensed in the State of Florida as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN). APRN License #: 11031434 Board certified by American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). -REMS Certified to evaluate, prescribe, and administer SPRAVATO® intranasal therapy for treatment-resistant depression. -Worked in the nursing profession in many settings including Chemical Addiction Recovery Effort and Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital on the adolescent, military, adult and intensive care units. -Previous adjunct professor and clinical instructor for RN students in the psychiatric nursing course at Gulf Coast State College in Panama City, FL. Her strong suits include a genuine compassion and concern when providing care to patients and advocating for their best treatment. The foundation in which she bases her practice on is trustworthiness, commitment, and upholding a high ethical standard of clinical decision-making with evidence-based practicing of medicine. She encourages and strives for her patients to achieve mood stability and a happy state of mind.
