“It's hard for me to express how much my provider, Lindsey Dempster, has managed to help me change my life and medication needs in a progressive, positive, and most importantly productive way. In over three decades of psychiatric visits to many different doctors, she is the stand out when it comes to listening and staying active in her goals for my treatment and hopeful recovery. The most significant thing Lindsey accomplished for me is something I frankly had given up on; getting my father back. That is something I can't put a price on and will never be able to properly thank or pay her back for something I thought to be impossible. Trend Mental Health, and providers like Lindsey Dempster are one of the reasons I can see the proverbial "light at the end of the tunnel" when it comes to dealing with my disorders, instead of a pitch black pit. You can't go wrong with them if you are seeking any sort of psychiatric/counseling/mental health care in general, I honestly believe that.”

Getting to know Lindsey Dempster

Accepting new clients for medication management! I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who graduated Summa Cum Laude from Walden University in 2022. My diverse experience spans 12 years and includes emergency medicine, ICU, oncology, psychiatry, and nursing/physician management. I promote growth and change by empowering clients to overcome personal obstacles that interfere with their desired goals, using medications as an adjunct to other meaningful lifestyle changes. In addition to medication management, I incorporate motivational interviewing and work hard to maintain a safe space for clients with diverse backgrounds, ages, situations, and mental health diagnoses. My experience working in an inpatient psychiatric unit means I am comfortable diagnosing, assessing, and referring clients to the appropriate level of care, whether that be for addiction management, eating disorders, or other psychiatric emergencies. Mutual understanding and respect lay the foundation for change, and together you will work to meet your goals.

Having Lindsey as part of my 6 year old son's care team has been life-changing. We went through 3 years of many Psychiatry teams at Childrens Hospital and varying other practices across Colorado before we met Lindsey, who immediately had empathy, understanding, and deep interest for my son's needs. It has been said to us many times that he is a "very tough and complicated case," which is something that no parent wants to hear. Lindsey has taken his needs head-on, provided a level of care far beyond expected (or that any provider would normally give), and consulted outside resources as needed. My son has gone from running away from fear of all providers, to independently asking to share his Halloween costumes and joyful activities with Lindsey. I am blown away by the trust she has gained in both him and I, and her sincere care for Neurodivergent kiddos. I wish all providers had the same outlook and methodology as Lindsey.
She was really kind
