About Lindsey Smith
Lindsey Smart Smith, PA-C, is a Salt Lake City native. She attended Utah State University on a full-ride soccer scholarship and earned her bachelor's degree in Human Movement Science, graduating with honors. She completed her master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies at A.T. Still University in 2013. Lindsey is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
She has been practicing dermatology for the past six years at the University of Utah Department of Dermatology and is deeply involved in education. Lindsey teaches the Dermatology course to Physician Assistant students at the University of Utah PA program and serves as an adjunct faculty member at Rocky Mountain University, assisting with their Dermatology courses as well. She enjoys treating patients of all ages and managing all aspects of diseases affecting the skin, hair, and nails, with special interests in acne, skincare, and cosmetics.

I’m in my 64th year and made my appointment because of some fears I have of being in the Sun a lot. Lindsey Smith was wonderful in treating multiple pre cancerous spots on my face, arms and hands. She helped me feel much better about my future.

I was very shocked at how poor Lindsey’s bedside manner was. She spent about 2.5 seconds on my concerns that I made my appointment for. She then was yawning when I was explaining my issues. She also then prescribed me a medication but failed to walk through what I can and cannot use with it. I then asked her to clarify and she continued to talk to me as if I was another doctor and knew those types of ingredients. Overall very disappointed in my experience and will not go back. It is a shamed because I left my last dermatologist because I had heard good things about Lindsey from online. You can’t trust social media

I visited Lindsey because I was experiencing adult acne. She listened to my concerns and the appointment felt like a collaboration. We decided it was best to take an aggressive approach to healing my skin and I am incredibly grateful for that. As an adult who has always suffered from acne, I was happy she was so willing to help me out in such a constructive way. The office was beautiful, clean and the staff was helpful and friendly.
