Getting to know Dr. Linh Tran
Linh Tran, DNP, PMHNP-BC, is a Doctorate-prepared, Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She obtained a Master and Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Columbia University. Linh has worked in a variety of settings, including inpatient units at the New York State Psychiatric Institute as well as outpatient clinics that focus on underserved populations such as children and family in the foster care system as well as private practice. She has experience in treating disorders including, but not limited to, ADHD, anxiety, depression, OCD, eating disorders, bipolar disorder, attachment disruptions, and PTSD. In addition to providing psychopharmacology, Linh also employs supportive and solution-based psychotherapy to help patients achieve their goals and overcome their obstacles. For Linh a therapeutic relationship that is built on mutual trust, respect and compassion is a prerequisite for change. She strives to empower her patients by guiding them in designing their treatment plan that works for them.
