About Lionel Vasquez
“My goal is to help people improve their health through knowledge and dependable care.”
In my healthcare career, I have worked as an emergency medical technician, a patient care technician, a clinical researcher, a registered nurse, and, finally, a nurse practitioner. I like to think that this experience has made me into a provider who is knowledgeable, open-minded, and compassionate. It is my hope to manifest and display those qualities to all of my patients.
I earned my Bachelor’s degrees from Resurrection University and Northeastern Illinois University, and completed my Master’s in Family Health Nursing at Northern Arizona University. I am a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
I worked as an RN in dialysis centers for six years and in home health for a brief six months.
I love traveling to see family and friends around the country and staying physically active in various ways, such as running, swimming, lifting, boxing, kickboxing, and hiking.
I will help patients incorporate health knowledge into their lives in practical and cost-efficient ways, working toward achievable goals that honor each patient's personal definition of good health.

I have a BSN in Nursing Admin. So I understand the importance of great medical care. This particular office was very professional and kind. If every Doctors office was this way, the world would certainly be a better place. The Doctor and Staff were so caring and professional. I recommend Optima Medical and this Physician to anyone that needs medical assistance. I know they certainly helped me!

The information posted on here was false. The office did contact me and said this provider does not do what I selected and what I searched for so why would this information be portrayed on top of? I had to schedule an appointment way out of the dates that I needed to be seen so this was pointless and a waste of my time.
