About Dr. Lisa Krieg
With a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Virginia in addition to being a Master's prepared Nurse Practitioner, optimizing wellness in a coaching role has been Lisa's passion. She sees people who desire increased energy levels, optimal metabolic health, and emotional wellbeing. She specializes in treating diabetes, prediabetes, PCOS, thyroid disease, and hormone optimization in menopause. Lisa is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in endocrinology with additional Board Certification in Advanced Diabetes Management. She will listen to understand, help you identify goals, and customize a plan that works for you. Sustainable lifestyle changes are the foundation of treatment. She offers additional tools including physical fitness coaching and newer medications that positively affect a healthy weight, a strong core, and heart and kidney health. Lisa was on time and ready to go from the start! She explained everything so well, answered all of my questions and even laughed along with my stupid jokes! Highly recommend her!

Lisa is wonderful. She is the first provider to sincerely listen to my concerns and attempt to resolve them. She thoroughly researched the matter and developed a plan of action. As an African American woman I felt seen and humanized.

Lisa was very kind and had plenty of questions about my history and my current experience. I thought she was attentive and interested in my care, which is important for me, so I feel comfortable moving forward with her as a provider.

I had an excellent experience with Lisa. I was able to make an appointment quickly, the office followed up with me almost immediately, and Lisa was ready for our meeting on time. She has a very calming presence which made it easy to talk to her. She took the time to get to know me, asked me pertinent questions about my background, and, most importantly, truly listened to my concerns. There was no rushing me out of the appointment and I felt that she truly cared about my well being. I would certainly reach out to Lisa again.

No sign of the doctor, called the practice and the staff had no idea where she was. If you can't be aware of a telehealth appointment made two full days beforehand, find a new line of work. Completely unacceptable that not even your own staff can locate you.
