About Dr. Lisa Zhang
Dr. Lisa F. Zhang is a well-trained foot and ankle specialist who is proud to offer the best care to patients at Florham Park and Millburn alongside Dr. Jordan Steinberg. Dr. Zhang graduated from Cornell University Summa Cum Laude with a double major in Microbiology and History. She then earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Temple University's School of Podiatric Medicine, graduating with Pi Delta Honors. Dr. Zhang completed her residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), a Level I trauma center, under the tutelage of Dr. Keith Cook and Dr. George Wallace. There, she gained extensive experience, particularly in diabetic foot and ankle management and trauma.
As a former and current athlete, Dr. Zhang has a special interest in sports medicine. She is skilled in treating fractures of the foot and ankle, ankle sprains, bunions (hallux abductovalgus), hammertoes, arthritis of the first MTP joint (hallux limitus), and soft tissue masses. She is also experienced in wound care, debridements, amputation prevention, and skin and synthetic grafts. From a sports medicine perspective, she treats plantar fasciitis, foot and ankle tendonitis, and ankle sprains with proven results. Dr. Zhang places great importance on diabetic foot and ankle care, investigating vascular and infectious causes that may be involved. She works closely with her patients' vascular, primary care, and infectious disease physicians to ensure a coordinated approach to healing. Additionally, Dr. Zhang takes an interest in dermatological conditions such as hyperpigmented lesions and verrucae.
Proud to serve her community in northern New Jersey, Dr. Zhang excelled academically and in swimming at Westfield High School, graduating in the top 1% of her class. She currently resides in Union County.
When not treating patients, Dr. Zhang enjoys yoga, Pilates, barre, swimming, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her husband, family, and friends.

Dr. Zhang is a wonderful physician! I followed her from her former practice to this new one, though I had to travel more than 45 minutes to the appointment. She is a marvelous podiatrist, very knowledgeable, gentle, always makes sure I'm anesthetized before proceeding, and explains what will occur in the procedure. I obviously would rather see her than any number of podiatrists closer to my home in Ridgewood. She's terrific!

Dr. Lisa Zhang was terrific! She was kind, compassionate and very informative. She addressed all of my issues and took the time to listen to me, educate me, make an orthotic cast for a permanent orthotic, and discuss with me how we will solve my ingrown toenails. I didn't feel rushed and will be returning in 2 wks for ingrown toenail treatment. Excellent podiatrist!!

Great overall experience. Doctor was knowledgeable about my issue discussed multiple treatment options and I was able to select what fit my lifestyle. She also took the extra time to write down physical therapy exercises. I will continue to see Dr. Zheng!

Having played sports my whole life, I did some damage to my ankle ligaments. My ankle would twist almost every week. After Dr. Zhang fixed my ankle I'm able to play soccer again with almost no issues. God bless Dr. Zhang & One Oak team for being awesome.
