I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner with a Master’s in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Walden University, and I have been in the field for a long time. I work with children approaching adolescence, adolescents, and adults. I am skilled at understanding what is going on and treating it accordingly. You can expect a warm, comfortable, and non-judgmental environment where we can talk openly. Have you ever had an experience in today’s healthcare system where you felt rushed, like just a number, and unheard? This is not the type of care you will get from me. I want to learn about you. I want to have conversations with you to explore the root causes of your mental health struggles. Together, we can develop a treatment plan that will help you get back to health.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My ideal clients are individuals who have an open mind and motivated for positive change. I love working with genuine, honest and truly good people. My goal is to help individuals be their best selves.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I absolutely love working hand in hand with my clients to figure out the root cause of their problems and find ways to recover and heal. Have you ever felt rushed by a provider? This is not how you will feel while receiving care from me. Along with medication management, I enjoy learning about you and incorporating therapy into my sessions. Fist session: Our first session can last anywhere from 45 minutes to over 60 minutes. This depends on you and our conversation. Follow up sessions: Our follow up sessions will last anywhere from 15 minutes to over 60 minutes as well. Our visit time will depend on multiple factors which include, but are not limited to amount of time you need during your visits.
