About Lorelei Sturm

In 2017, I began the Masters Coordinated Program in Nutrition at UIC. I completed my degree in December of 2019 and passed the RD exam to receive my credential in March of 2020. I am licensed to practice in IL. ?A long-time vegetarian, my favorite foods include pineapple and mango. However, I do seem to make room in my diet for chocolate almost every day.In addition to working with several community health organizations, I have spent much of my career as a dietitian working in residential treatment centers for individuals recovering from eating disorders. I take a weight inclusive approach to nutrition counselling and encourage clients to include all foods as part of their recovery. My aim as a dietitian is to offer compassionate guidance to finding sustainable ways to nourish your body for the long term.
