After 15 minutes of waiting, the nurse took me into her personal office to take my vitals, and then took me to another waiting room where I had to wait 10 more minutes. Dr. Popp kept looking at her phone during my visit and even answered it at one point. Every concern I had, she brushed it off, and when I mentioned that I had gained weight in the year since I graduated from college, she told me that I "had no excuse" and that I needed to lose the weight before I "became 30 and fat and it was too late". She then gave me a dieting regimen that I didn't ask for, and rushed me out. Terrible. Never coming back.
Very kind and attentive! Great visit!
Office was a bit of a mess but doc was fantastic.
Excellent doctor's office
Dr Popp is the best primary care doc. She is an excellent clinician and relates well with her patients. She is focused on helping her patients have the healthiest life possiblebbut does not talk down to you. I feel blessed to be have her as my primary care physician.
My appointment was changed the day of the appointment because the doctor was not in the office and then the appointment did not start on time. When I got there no one was at the front desk to give me the necessary paperwork. I had to wait at least fifteen minutes till someone showed up and I had to tell them I needed paperwork. I waited well over thirty minutes to see the doctor and another individual waited over an hour. The office was very old and not well kept. They were drawing a patients blood in the hallway while I stood there and watched. The doctor was friendly, but I feel like her suggested diagnostics were extreme and expensive. Additionally, I've spent over a week trying to get test results. And after calling the lab I finally had them sent to the office, because the front desk said it took too long to sit on hold with the lab. I called and in less than five minutes had the results faxed to the office. The office blamed the slow response on me for going to a different lab, however, I went to a location they suggested. Now the office refuses to send me those results and now I have to wait till the doctor is back in the office to read the results.
She was very professional, explained everything i needed and focussed on lifestyle as well as medication.
We are new to the area and Dr. Popp is in our health insurance plan provider book. We chose her and we're very glad we did! She is very nice, patient, answers your questions, and explains everything a patient needs to know. She is our entire family doctor now!
I had to cancel my appointment for today, but my 17 year old daughter saw her on Feb 10th and we both thought she was great! Took her time with us and answered our questions thoroughly. My I have rescheduled my appointment.
I enjoyed my visit with Dr. Popp. She was very pleasant, attentive, and knowledgeable. She and her staff are very kind and skilled.
The communication of the staff was subpar and I immediately regretted coming in. I came in for a minor issue but the staff made me feel kind of stupid for coming in. Additionally, I could hear them talking about my issue outside the door while I was waiting for the doctor, which I found disconcerting and unprofessional.
I am very happy to have found Dr. Popp on zocdoc. She has a very personable and polite assistant who got the appointment started. Once I sat down and met Dr. Popp in person, she was very open and listened to the reasons for my initial visit that day. She made notes, suggestions and talked about next steps. I left feeling like I made a great choice in a Primary Care physician and look forward to following up with her soon. Thank you Dr. Popp and ZocDoc!
I arrived at the office 30 minutes early to fill out new patient paperwork as instructed. I was given the new patient paperwork to fill out 5 minutes before my appointment time of 1215. When I asked to use the restroom, the front desk assistant asked me to wait so she could see if the doctor wanted to collect it as a sample. She returned and asked if I had been fasting, to which I replied: "I was not instructed to, so no". At approximately 1245 my name was called and I was conducted to another room where my vitals were taken. The PA was very soft spoken, difficult to understand, and didn't provide any feedback from my blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, or weight tests. I can only assume that everything was WNL. I was then conducted to another room where an EKG was conducted. There was a significant delay here because the PA couldn't get the leads right to take a good reading. Dr. Popp came in to assist, and I eventually had a successful reading. I was told to get dressed and that someone would escort me to another room where I would meet with Dr. Popp. Once dressed I waiting for 15 minutes before the PA, surprised to still see me sitting in the EKG room, said that she thought someone else already moved me. By this time, I had been in the office for 2 hours (to include the 30 minutes before the appointment to fill out paperwork). I ended up leaving before I had a chance to see Dr. Popp because I had to get back to work. I never intended to need 2 hours for a routine annual physical. Dr. Popp called me about 10 minutes after I left the office and apologized for the mix up - she had seen the appointment after mine first. The brief interaction I had with Dr. Popp was pleasant, but the office seemed too disorganized and mismanaged for my liking. I'm sure she is a competent doctor, but I didn't get the best impression of the practice and will be looking for another primary care physician.
Great doctor and great staff.
Friendly, smart and had good advice. Refreshingly honest and nice clean offices.
Very insightful and helpful. Dr Popp answered my question and is definitely interested in doing what's best for the patient. She offered additional advice for healthy living. Will visit again.
