Getting to know Dr. Lori Gardiner

Dr. Gardiner is a dual certified Family/Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 30 years of nursing experience. She began her nursing career in the early 90’s as a licensed practical nurse. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Nicholls State University, a Master of Science in Family Health Nursing from the University of South Alabama in 2008, a Doctor of Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Brandman University, a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Chamberlain University in 2020, and a PhD in Nursing Science from Chamberlain University - Atlanta. She is board certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Dr. Gardiner is a current member of the United States Army Reserves and an Army Veteran. She is experienced in treating Soldiers and Veterans with various medical and mental health conditions. Dr. Gardiner practices through a holistic platform and is dedicated to working with patients and families. She is experienced in treating Depression, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and Anger Management. She also performs pre- and post-weight loss surgery evaluations. Dr. Gardiner is currently accepting new patients.

We use evidence-based strategies to facilitate the care of our clients while providing the respect and excellence individuals and families need.

The negative stigma associated with mental heath care can sometimes make it challenging to find the right provider. However, Dr. Lori Gardiner has proven to be an exceptional clinician in every possible way. She is consistently warm and welcoming, and she always displays a positive and friendly demeanor. These attributes were vital in helping my daughter move forward in treatment. Dr. Gardiner’s approach has been very therapeutic for both of us, and this has made our journey that much easier.
