Marriage and Family Therapist

Life does not always go the way we plan it. Sometimes life can hit hard and, at times, it can feel overwhelming. Occasionally, we may find ourselves in a challenging life transition, struggling to adjust to a new marriage or marriage difficulties, a new baby, a blended family, an empty nest, a job promotion, a job loss, retirement, or the loss of a loved one. At other times, we may find ourselves stuck in unproductive and negative patterns, looking for solutions. I understand how difficult it can sometimes be to reach out for help, and I strive to offer a safe, non-judgmental, and empowering space for my clients. I like to think of therapy as a lighthouse, a beacon offering hope and a safe place in life's storms. I believe that difficult times in our lives give us an opportunity to learn what our strengths are and how to use them to grow. I hold a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Bachelor's degree, both from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, which have equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support individuals and families through life's challenges.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I am passionate about working with individuals including adolescents and aging adults, couples, and families who are facing life’s storms, adjusting to life transitions, or are simply ready to make positive changes in their lives.
