Dr. Solaro is a board certified child and adolescent psychiatrist with more than 20 years of experience working with children and adolescents in outpatient, inpatient and residential treatment settings. After graduating summa cum laude from Northwestern University with a bachelor’s degree in education and child development, Dr. Solaro earned her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She completed her general psychiatry residency and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Rush University in Chicago, where she served as chief resident. Dr. Solaro’s specialty areas of interest include pediatric mood and anxiety disorders, attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder and developmental disorders.
